What You’ll Need: Sunflower or corn oil / Lint-free cloth or blue shop towels/A conventional oven/Clean dish towel 🛠️ Seasoning Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 250°C Let it reach full temperature before placing your pan inside. 2. Clean your pan thoroughly Wash the pan with warm water and scrub away any food residue. For tough spots, use a heavy-duty scrubbing pad. 3. Dry it completely Wipe the cookware dry with a clean dish towel or paper towel to remove all moisture. 4. Apply a thin layer of oil Pour about half a teaspoon of oil into the pan. Use a cloth or towel to rub a thin, even coat across the entire surface — inside, edges, handle, and bottom. 5. Wipe off the excess With a clean dry towel, buff the entire pan until it looks dry and matte. This is important — too much oil will create sticky or uneven patches. 6. Place the pan upside down in the oven Carefully place it on the middle rack, upside down, to avoid pooling oil. Use foil or a tray below to catch any drips. 7. Bake for 60 minutes Let the seasoning bond to the metal. 8. Turn off the oven and let it cool inside Leave the pan in the oven for 30 more minutes after turning off the heat. 9. Repeat 2–3 times if needed For deeper seasoning and better non-stick performance, repeat the process up to 3 times.
